titleOfInvention | non-reactive diluting solvents of epoxy resins |
abstract | Use of high-boiling products of alkylation of benzene with ethene or propene at a boiling point of 230 to 340 degrees C for diluting epoxy resins. Owing to the dissolving capacity and effect on the viscosity of epoxy resin solutions the optimum situation is the use of alkylation products with a boiling point of 260 to 290 degrees C. By their non-saponifiability these products increase the chemical resistance of hardened resins. |
