The process for producing desglucodesrhamnoruscine consists in hydrolyzing the steroid glycosides (ruscosaponins) of Ruscus aculeatus by fermenting a substrate containing these glycosides by treating fungi of the Aspergillus niger family obtained by selection on a culture medium in which a conventional carbon source has been replaced or supplemented with ruscoside. |
