A coated glass for controlling sunlight with a pre-selected reflected light color having anti-iridescent SnO.sub.2.n. a coating comprising at least two layers, wherein one layer is an NIR sun-absorbing layer comprising SnO.sub.2.n. and as a dopant selected from the group consisting of antimony, tungsten, vanadium, gelatin, chromium molybdenum, niobium, cobalt, nickel, and mixtures thereof, and the other layer is a low emissivity layer comprising nO.sub.2. and as a dopant selected from the group consisting of fluorine and / or phosphorus, wherein the NIR layer of the solar absorbing layer is in the range of 80 to 300 nm and the thickness of the low emissivity layer is from 200 to 450 nm, reflecting visible light from the SNO. sub.2.n. the coating is at least 6.2%. This glass absorbs near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths and reflects infrared mid-wavelength radiation (low-infrared low-emissivity). If desired, multiple layers may be used to control sunlight and / or multiple low emission layers. The process of manufacturing this coated glass is also within the scope of the invention. |
