abstract The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for vaccination of bovine animals, in particular respiratory diseases. It also applies to the appropriate method of vaccination. A particular vaccine of the invention comprises a plasmid comprising a bovine respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) gene, wherein the gene is selected from the group consisting of genes F and G, and further comprises a suitable carrier. In one preferred embodiment of the invention, the vaccine further comprises a plasmid comprising and expressing another bovine respiratory disease respiratory disease gene selected from the group consisting of PI-3 (parainfluenza type 3), BHV (bovine herpetic virus) and BVD (bovine viral diarrhea).
