abstract | Solution formulations comprising at least one radical scavenger with a decomposition temperature of 10 h below + 74 degC and / or ketone peroxide, and at least one compound having partial structure I where Y is -HC = CH-, -HC = C (CH 3 O 3) - or -C (= CH 2 O 2) - CH 2 O 2 wherein the mixture does not contain such vinyl or alpha-substituted vinyl compounds of the formula II in which R.sup.1.n. and R.sup.2.n. independently of one another are hydrogen or any organic radical which, in the presence of the radical substance (s) contained in the composition, reacts at a temperature of up to about 70 degC and a pressure of about 101.3 kPa with the compound or compounds with partial structure I present in curing polyester resin or copolymer. The following describes the use of a composition comprising radical scavengers for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins and for the polymerization and polymerization reactions and the ketone peroxide formulation. |
