A method for determining beta-lactam antibiotics in biological fluid |
abstract |
The invention relates to a method of detecting antibiotics with a beta-lactam core in a biological fluid, comprising the following steps: a) contacting a specified volume of biological fluid with a certain amount of recognition agent and incubating the mixture thus obtained under conditions permitting complexation of antibiotics possibly present in the biological b) contacting the mixture obtained in step a) with at least one reference antibiotic immobilized on a carrier, under conditions permitting the formation of a complex of the reference antibiotic with a quantity of recognition agent that did not react during step a), and c) determining the amount of recognition a carrier-attached agent, wherein the recognition agent comprises a receptor susceptible to the presence of beta-lactam core antibiotics derived from Bacillus licheniformis, which is the BlaR receptor or the BlaR-CTD receptor. |
