A method for producing a multilayer membrane suitable for use in vivo in the reconstitution of bone or cartilage tissue formed by: i) a matrix layer, predominantly collagen II with an open sponge structure aii) at least one barrier layer with a closed, relatively impermeable structure formed predominantly of collagen I and III is that the collagen II suspension is applied to the closed membrane barrier membrane surface and then the material is lyophilized to form a collagen II matrix layer with an open sponge structure. The solution also relates to such a membrane obtained and to its use. |
