titleOfInvention A method for obtaining a diesel fraction fuel by olefin oligomerization or mixtures thereof
abstract The invention relates to a process for obtaining a diesel fuel with a cetane number equal to or greater than 48 and an aromatics content of less than 0.4% by weight using light olefins or a mixture thereof as starting products, comprising the following steps: - oligomerization of said olefins containing 2 up to 10 carbon atoms, in the presence of synthetic zeolites, which contain oxides of silicon, titanium and aluminum, the molar ratio of which is SiO.sub.2.n./Al.sub.2.n.O.sub.3.n. ranges from 100 to 300, the molar ratio of SiO.sub.2.n./TiO.sub.2.n. is greater than 41 and whose amount of extrastructural titanium oxide is zero or less than 25% by weight, relative to the total amount of titanium oxide present; performed at a temperature ranging from 180 to 300 ° C, at a pressure greater than 4 MPa and a mass space velocity equal to or greater than 1 h.sup.-1.n. to obtain a stream which consists essentially of oligomerized (C.sub.5.n.-C.sub.24.n.) hydrocarbons; - distillation of the stream obtained from the oligomerization to separate C.sub.12.n.-C.sub.24.n. hydrocarbon stream from C.sub.5.n.-C.sub.12.n. hydrocarbon stream; - hydrogenation of the separated C.sub.12.n.-C.sub.24.n. hydrocarbon stream.
