A method for desulphurisation of wet-type flue gases and apparatus for its implementation |
abstract |
A wet type flue gas desulfurization method and apparatus using a solid desulfurizing agent in which the flue gases are contacted with a water-containing absorbing liquid as a major component to absorb sulfur oxides from the flue gases into an absorbing liquid, followed by neutralization of the absorbing liquid containing the sulfur oxides thus absorbed. The solid desulfurizing agent is selectively retained in the neutralization zone to neutralize the absorbing liquid, having a weighted average particle diameter of Ź mm or greater and selectively withdrawing the water-containing absorbing liquid as the main component and the solids formed from the sulfur oxides from the neutralization zone based on having a weighted mean particle diameter of less than ŹŹ mm, wherein the absorption liquid from the neutralization zone is partially recirculated back into contact with the flue gas. Tz formed absorption tower}} Bz inlet passage and an outlet passage @B @}} Bz spray nozzles and manifold @B @ B @} also includes the neutralization apparatus, and recirculating aparátŕ |
