abstract | In the method of manufacturing hybrid components formed by a compact base body (1) and at least one plastic part (3) attached thereto, a base body (1) is first inserted into the mold. In the reactive injection process (RIM), a monomer system with defined rheological properties is introduced, in particular a viscosity of 200 to 30,000 mPas for the polyamide-6 monomer system, or 100 to 800 mPas for the polydicyclopentadiene monomer system, and a temperature of 80 to 120 degC. a polyamide-6 monomer system, or 20 to 100 degC for a polydicyclo-pentadiene monomer system. This monomer system fills the mold cavity within 1 to 40 seconds with a temperature of 120 to 190 degC for the polyamide monomer system, or 20 to 100 degC for the polydicyclopentadiene monomer system. At least one plastic part is formed by the polymerization directly in the mold and the finished part is then removed from the mold at a temperature of 130 to 180 degC. |
