abstract | The device for retaining and transferring a homogeneous suspension of cellulose, in particular comminuted cellulose, in a liquid, aqueous tertiary amine oxide, consists of a cylindrical, substantially horizontally disposed, reservoir (1) with an inlet (5) of homogeneous suspension and an outlet (6). the mixing shaft (2) on which the mixing elements are located, wherein the mixing shaft (2) is arranged axially in the tank (1) and maintains the inlet opening (5) of the introduced suspension in a homogeneous state by its rotation, and on the other hand from the discharge device of the homogeneous suspension, which is formed as a conveying screw (7) arranged on the underside of the tank (1), which is connected to the interior of the tank (1) and which is positioned diametrically opposite to the inlet opening (5). In the tank (1) there are mixing elements which extend above the outlet opening (6). The ratio of the discharge capacity of the discharge device to the receiving capacity of the cylindrical tank (1) is at least 1: 100 |
