abstract |
A method of treating ferrous sulfate crystalline forms into a reclamation material in which ferrous sulphate is mixed with the lime material in such a ratio that the aqueous leachate of the mixture has a pH of 3.5 to 9.0 and the resulting mixture is deposited after any additivation with water or other waste materials. for 24 hours to 150 days. The mixing of the ingredients is carried out either dry or only in the presence of enough water to guarantee dust-free processing. The product can be used as a reclamation material for the technical reclamation of landfills, tailing ponds and similar projects. The described method makes it possible to dispose of ferrous sulphate waste forms ecologically and advantageously to evaluate them for reclamation material. |
