Ethylene polymer having a polydispersity index of at least 3.0, melt index, MI, defined as the melt index of the polymer given in grams per 10 minutes as determined by ASTM D-1238, condition E at 190 ° C. degree.C, and the relaxation spectrum index RSI according to the relationship (RSI) (MI.sup.7,7.) m value in t 26 26, and the distribution index of the crystallizable et al. L.sub.nn it is less than 3 to use this ethylene polymer to produce, for example, a coating of non-wrought extruded or molded products, such as insulation and cable, or other materials. This polymer, and although it was not produced under high pressure, is workable or better compared to expanded high pressure polyethylenes having a similar melt index value. |
