The microorganism strain Comamonas testosteroni CCM 4824 produces intracellular penicillin acylase, stable in the pH range from 3.0 to 11.0 and temperatures up to 60 degC, usable mainly for the preparation of 6-aminopenicillanes and 7-aminodeacetoxycephalosporan acids from penicillin and some derivatives of cephalosporin, for enzymatic reverse synthesis of semisynthetic antibiotics, hydrolysis and amide synthesis, ester hydrolysis and n-terminal amino acid breaks from the peptide or only racemic amino acid mixtures. \ t |
