abstract | The process for producing ropivacaine hydrochloride monohydrate of formula (I), wherein the racemic starting material, pipecoloxylidide hydrochloride, is liberated from the hydrochloride salt of the salt to give pipecoloxylidide, the latter crystallizing with water, acetone and water. The stable crystallization system releases the crystal product from the salt of the extract from the set in the organic solvent from (S) -pipecoloxylidide, which is alkylated with 1-halopropane in the present from the set and pop. In the presence of a catalyst, the solution to be sieved and the product is treated with HCl such as ropivacaine hydrochloride, which is isolated, re-insulated and dried. \ T |
