abstract | In the present invention there is disclosed a weed killing method in a certain place being characterized by applying to said place a synergistic herbicidally active amount of (a) 4-benzoylisoxazole of the general formula I, in which R represents hydrogen {-COi2Re3}, Re1 represents cyclopropyl, Re2 represents a halogen, {-S(O)ipMe} or alkyl containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a haloalkyl, n is 2 or 3, p is 0, 1 or 2, and Re3 represents alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and (b) chloroacetamide herbicidal agent, whereby the ratio of components (a) : (b) ranges between 1 : 8000 to 64 : 1 weight/weight. In the present invention there is also claimed a synergistic herbicidal mixture containing as active substances the aforementioned active components (a) and (b). |
