Topical ophthalmic medicinal products containing 0.02 to 5.0% of immunosuppressive drugs belonging to the group of monocyclic undecapeptides, macrolide lactones or corticosteroids in a vehicle containing up to 10% polyalkylene glycol polyurethane copolymers. These copolymers are formed in a hydrophilic vehicle, preferably poly (oxy-1,2-ethanediyl) alpha-hydroxy-hydroxypolymers with 1,1'-methylene bis (4-isocyanate cyclohexane) of average molecular weight. 1000 to 3000, and in a lipophilic vehicle preferably poly [oxy (methyl-1,2-ethanediyl)] - alpha-hydroxy-hydroxypolymers with 1,1'-methylene-bis- (4-isocyanatocyclohexane) o median molecular weights of 1600 to 18,000. Further, the pharmaceutical compositions may contain other excipients customary in topical dosage forms. |
