The proposed absorption sanitary article comprises in addition to usual outer impervious supporting foil (10) of an absorption pad (12) being permeable to body liquids, permeable internal cover foils (13) also a strip (27) within the crotch region consisting of a composite non-woven material (1) exhibiting high measure of liquid permeability, excellent resistance to back moisture and fuzzing. This composite non-woven material (1) comprises at least one first layer (2) of carded voile of hydrophobic thermoplastic fibers that are partially disoriented in at least a portion of the voile thickness so that a portion of those fibers has an angular incline with respect to main plane of fibers of said voile, and a second layer (3) made of voile of a non-woven fabric of a non-carded type of hydrophobic thermoplastic fibers, whereby at least one of the layers (2, 3) is selected from a low-melting thermoplastic two-component fibers, mixtures of such fibers with high-melting thermoplastic fibers and with fibers mixed with a binding agent or one front side of the voile of one of the layers (2, 3) is coated with a binding agent and those layers (2, 3) are coupled with each other by hot fusion. The production process starts with making a composite non-woven material, which is then molded in corresponding manner and put between the foils (10, 13) of the absorption sanitary article. |
