The present invention provides a stable and effective multivalent cervical vaccine comprising hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in which the HBsAg insert is stable for 1 week at 37 ° C. and is highly immunogenic, for example, when administering a vaccine to children. Typically, the composition comprises HBsAg adsorbed onto aluminum phosphate and other antigens, particularly those suitable for use in pediatric vaccines, adsorbed onto aluminum phosphate or aluminum hydroxide. Also described is a method of making vaccines and using aluminum phosphate to stabilize HBsAg in a multivalent vaccine. |
