For the production of cellulose shaped bodies, the cellulose ammonium oxide solution is extruded through a nozzle, then passed through an air gap where it is optionally stretched and finally coagulated in a precipitation bath. The minimum orifice diameter of the nozzle is at most 150 microns, preferably at most 70 microns, and the length of the nozzle channel is at least 1000 microns, preferably about 1500 microns. This can reduce the length of the air gap below 35 mm or even below 10 mm, or due to the orientation in the long channels of the nozzle it can start with a slight draw without suffering the textile properties of the fibers produced. In a preferred embodiment of the nozzle channel, it is conical on the inlet side and cylindrical only on the outlet side |
