abstract | A method for producing silver powder having a mean particle size of less than 1 m by reducing silver carbonate obtained by reacting a silver nitrate solution with sodium carbonate. The principle is that the solution of the dispersing agent based on salts of unsaturated polyamide high molecular weight acid esters is added to the reaction mixture, whereupon the precipitate of silver carbonate is reduced with hydrazine hydrate in a sodium carbonate solution at pH 9-13 at 15-30. |
