titleOfInvention | Pharmaceutic gel containing natural prostaglandins for topic use |
abstract | The pharmaceutical gel contains 1.10<-5> to 1.10<-2> natural prostaglandins of the A,E,F2alpha series, alternatively as salts or esters, 10 to 90 parts by weight of polyethylene glycols of low molecular mass, alternatively partly as esters of higher fatty acids or ethers of higher fatty alcohols, 5 to 60 parts by weight of polyols, alternatively partly as esters, 0.2 to 2 parts by weight of alkaline reacting constituents in a quantity so that the final gel has a pH value of 5.5 to 7, 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of stabilizer, or it also contains 0.05 to 0.5 parts by weight of disinfecting substances, 2 to 10 parts by weight of esters of carboxylic acids and 1 to 10 parts by weight of saccharose- or cellulose-based derivatives, and is completed by pharmaceutically acceptable alcohol or water for injections up to 100 parts by weight. Hydrogel has been well established for the treatment of all diseases with atopic diathesis, skin defects of various aetiology, oedema, haematomas and some kinds of inflammation and their consequences and all types of diseases originating as a result of poor perfusion in the peripheral areas. |
