The invention concerns an alloy comprising chromium, such as Cr2O3-former, resistant to oxidation and/or corrosion in particular caused by glass, particularly at high temperature, characterised in that it contains dispersed inside its matrix chromium oxide Cr2O3 or a precursor of said oxide. Said alloy can be prepared by powder metallurgy by a method comprising a step of heat hardening of metal powders, in particular sintering. The invention is applicable to articles used in oxidant or corrosive medium at high temperature. |
