abstract |
The invention relates to a process for removing nitrogen oxides from exhaust gases by catalytic reduction of the nitrogen oxides to form nitrogen with the aid of ammonia in the presence of a catalyst based on titanium dioxide, an alcohol being added to the exhaust gas prior to passing it over the catalyst and the exhaust gas then being passed over the catalyst at temperatures of 150 to 550 DEG C. |
