abstract |
Deactivation of ion-exchange catalyst for bisphenol synthesis is slowed so that, at a temperature sufficient for maintaining the mixture in a liquid state, the reaction mixture of phenols and ketons is acted upon by a polymeric sorbent, containing bound -SH active groups, prepared by neutralisation of more than 50 % active groups of an acid ion exchanger by mercaptoalkylamine with 1-3 carbons. |
