abstract New thiopyranopyrrole derivatives of general formula (I) in which R is hydrogen, allyl or a radical of structure: -CRaRbRc in which Ra and Rb are hydrogen atoms or phenyl radicals which are optionally substituted (by halogen, alkyl, alkyloxy or nitro), and Rc is defined as Ra and Rb or represents an alkyl or alkyloxyalkyl radical, at least one of Ra, Rb and Rc being a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl radical, and n = 0 to 2, in their stereoisomeric forms and their mixtures, optionally their salts when they exist and their preparation. The new derivatives according to the invention are particularly advantageous as synthetic intermediates. <IMAGE>
