A glass yarn sizing composition consisting of a solution having a viscosity of at most 400 cP and including less than 5 wt % of a solvent and at least one ultraviolet radiation- or electron beam-polymerisable base system that includes at least one component with a molecular weight of less than 750 including at least one epoxy reactive function and at least 60 wt % of one or more components with a molecular weight of less than 750 including at least one reactive function selected from epoxy, hydroxy, vinylether, acrylic and methacrylic. A method using said composition and yarns coated therewith are also disclosed. |
