The second gas region (26) comprises a secondna mechanism for directing a second ambient streamngas across and in contact with the other surface (25)nmembranes (24). The membrane (24) contains a medium for diffusionngas transmission, containing multiple zigzag pathsnextending from the first surface (23) of the membrane (24)nto a second membrane surface (25). Empty sharenthe volume of the membrane (24) is at least 0.2. The membrane (24) isnable to substantially block the transfer of particles from the first gasnthe region (22) to the second gas region (26), allowingngas diffusion between the first and second gas regions (22, 26).nGas can be air. The direct gas area containsneg air outside the enclosure and second gas areanit contains air inside the enclosure.
