Equipment is providednan indicator for the visual detection of oxide absorptionncarbon dioxide and a foil element (7) with low β-radiation absorption,nwhich is inserted or is insertable between the matrix element anβ-radiation equipment. The invention also relatesnappropriate method of capture and determinationnexhaled carbon dioxide.
