Device for removing radionuclides from rinsing solutions, which comprises - at least one removably mounted mechanical filter comprising at least one baffle with a hole size of 5 to 20 mm, - a sorption filter module comprising at least one removably mounted sorption filter comprising a polymeric carrier nanoparticles of at least one metal oxide, the size of the nanoparticles being in the range of 10 to 800 nm, and the metal oxide selected from the group consisting of nickel oxide, zirconia, titanium dioxide and mixtures thereof, , wherein the filters are interconnected by tubes, and wherein the filters, resp. filter modules are arranged in the above order in the direction of flow of the rinsing solution through the device. The present solution also provides a process for separating radionuclides from rinsing samples using this device. |
