Nitrogen heterocyclic compounds containing 2 - ((1E) -hydroxyimino) methyl) -3-hydroxypyridine of formula I are new, as yet unpublished derivatives of 2- (5- (5-hydroxy-6 - ((1E) - (hydroxyimino)) methyl) pyridin-2-yl) pentyl) -pyridinium, quinolinium or isoquinolinium salts. These compounds consist of two basic fragments capable of binding simultaneously to the catalytic site of the reactivating part of the molecule and to the peripheral site of the enzyme anchoring the part of the molecule. Nitrogenous compounds can be used to reactivate human acetylcholinesterase upon inhibition by an organophosphorus compound from the group of nerve agents or pesticides. |
