abstract | The present invention provides a cell culture support comprising a multiwell plate, wherein porous substrates are placed in the wells, preferably with a porosity of ≥ 90%, adapted for cell culture, adhering to the surface of the wells. The carrier can be reproducibly prepared by a process comprising the steps of: applying a solvent layer to at least one well of the multiwell plate and freezing it; applying to said at least one well of at least one layer of porous substrate material, after each layer is applied, the material is frozen; applying a solvent coating to said at least one well, freezing it; and lyophilizing after application of each layer or after application of all layers. |
