abstract | The electrochemical accumulator member (100) may include first and second electrode plates (110) wound around a cylindrical coil (120) and forming a jellyroll-like structure. The first and second electrode plates (110) each comprise uncoated conductive edges that are parallel to the end faces of the jellyroll-type, and coated opposed surfaces between the uncoated conductive edges. The first and second insulating plates (110) mechanically and electrically separate the coated opposing surfaces of the first and second electrode plates (110) and mechanically and electrically separate the cylindrical coil and the coated opposite surfaces of the first electrode plate, and the groove cuts (136) from the uncoated conductive edges. Slot notches (136) are placed together at an angle relative to the cylindrical coil when forming a jellyroll type construction. |
