abstract BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the preparation of nanocomposite materials of nanoparticles Ag.sup. + .N., Cu.sup.2 + .n. And Zn.sup.2 + anchored in chitosan and its use for improving vascular replacement properties. The nanocomposite is applied to the vascular replacement and after drying and curing the vascular replacement is ready for use. The vascular replacement thus modified has the advantages of improved biocompatibility and has antimicrobial properties.
