abstract The present invention relates to an infectious dwarf virus clone, as well as reaction mixtures and primers for its detection. This break includes at least one copy of the viral dwarf virus genome comprising the intact sequence of the replication origin contained within the LIR region, which copy is continuously followed by a portion of the second copy so that the intact replication origin sequence is minimally contained in the second copy portion. the replication end, wherein the wheat dwarf virus infectious clone together contains less than two whole copies of the wheat dwarf virus viral genome, said copies being inserted into the sequence of commonly used DNA bacterial plasmids used for DNA replication selected from pUC18, pGWM-T Easy and their derivatives that do not alter their original purpose, ie. DNA replication.
