abstract | In the mechanical process for producing an electrochemically active SRIMOCA structure with a motif of sharp ridges on the surface of a compact carbon material, the structure is formed by removing material from the surface of the compact carbon material body (1) on the support (4) with a rigidly anchored cutting tool (5) of hard material, (5) and the body surface (1) perform a translational movement relative to one another. The structure of SRIMOCA is particularly applicable in the field of biophysics and biochemistry for electrochemical investigation of biomolecules and biopolymers, for electrochemical analysis of physiological processes of organisms, for medical diagnostics using electrochemical methods and in other electroactive chemical processes. |
