titleOfInvention | An immobilized catalytic system for the oxidation of pyridine and its derivative to pyridine-1-oxides by hydrogen peroxide and its method of preparation |
abstract | The solution provides a catalytic system for the oxidation of pyridine and its methyl derivative to the corresponding pyridine-1-oxides by hydrogen peroxide, characterized in that it contains an active catalyzing component selected from the group consisting of molybdenum oxoanions +6, tungsten oxo-oxides in the oxidation state +6, vanadium oxoanions in the oxidation state +5, mixed heterooxopolyanions of the general formula [(P) .sub.an (Si) .sub.bn (B) .sub.cn (W) .sub.pn (Mo) .sub.qn (V where the indices a, b, c, p, q, r, x have a specific meaning and mixtures of these oxoanions and / or heteropolyanions, active the catalyzing component is ion-immobilized on an organic anion exchanger. The organic anion exchanger is preferably a divinylbenzene copolymer, preferably selected from the group consisting of a cross-linked methylstyrene-divinylbenzene copolymer, a cross-linked acrylate-divinylbenzene copolymer, and a cross-linked methacrylate-divinylbenzene copolymer. The active catalytic component is immobilized via protonated or quaternized oligoamine - [NRCH.sub.2.n.sub.2.sub. .3n..sup. + .N., Where m, R have a specific meaning and / or through quaternary ammonium groups - (NR'.sub.3.n). ยด has a specific meaning bound to an organic anion via methylene -CH 2 or a carbonyl - (C = O) - functional group. The invention also relates to a process for preparing the catalyst system. |
