titleOfInvention Method and equipment for non-jet centrifugal production of nanofibers and microfibers on the surface of rotating cylinders
abstract In the process for spin-free spinning of nanofibers and microfibers, the spun polymer or melt solution is applied to the surface at least one cylinder (1), which rotates at least 1000 rpm, and produces a thin film of spun polymer or melt on the surface of the roll (1). From this film, the nanofibers and microfibers formed by the opposing effect of the centrifugal force and the force induced by the curvature of the cylinder surface (1) described by the Laplace-Young equation are separated by Raleigh-Taylor instability. The resulting nanofibers and microfibers with a diameter of 25 to 700 nm are collected in the form of wool in the collection space or deposited in the form of a nonwoven fabric. Equipment for non-skid centrifugal production of nanofibers and microfibers consists of at least one rotating metal cylinder (1) and fine metal grille (3), which touches the cylinder (1) in a tangent position and is spun by the pump (6). whose excess flows into the upper tub (5) under the cylinder (1). Further, the upper tub (5) is located in the lower collecting tray (7), from which the excess of the fiberized solution is again conveyed by the pump (6) to the cylinder (1), or the fiberized solution is picked up by the cylinder (1) from the level of the spun solution in the upper tray ( 5). The device further comprises a metal chimney (9) and a partition (10) above which a fan (11) is positioned. The entire device is driven by a drive unit with a motor (2), or a coaxial cylinder (13) without a grille is connected to the metal cylinder (1) by a pulley (12).
