abstract |
The present invention relates to a composition for topical application of methylphenidate and to the use of the composition for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of mild cerebral dysfunction (ADD) and disorders of light brain dysfunction and hyperactivity (ADHD). A composition for the topical application of methylphenidate-containing methylphenidate in a flexible closed system, wherein methylphenidate is present in an effective application of from 3.96 to 10.56 mg of methylphenidate per 10 cm.sup.2 in a flexible closed system during the first 10 hours in one an embodiment and another embodiment is a composition with an effective applied amount of from 23.76 to 63.36 mg of methylphenidate. |
