Pseudopolymorph of desloratadine prepared with carbon dioxide of formula I has a valuable antiallergic effect and can be used as a pharmaceutically active ingredient. The present invention also relates to the preparation of desloratadine of high purity. The present invention also relates to the use of the desloratadine pseudopolymorph of formula I for the preparation of desloratadine salts of formula VI wherein X is an anion and n is 1 or 2. |
