abstract The percolator assembly has a percolation chamber (14) that can be moved vertically by a control handle to insert a capsule of the product to be infused, the chamber containing an axially-sliding percolation head (17). The head is held in the required position to suit the size of capsule used by a spring-loaded locking rod (21, 22) actuated by a cam (24) on the supporting frame when the chamber is in its operational position. The outer surface of the percolation head has at least two annular ribs (25, 26) to interact with the locking rod.
