The amides of formula (I) R 1 is C 1-6 alkyl, phenyl, naphthyl,nquinolyl, pyridyl, pyrimidyl, pyridazyl, quinazolyl andnquinoxalyl, wherein the rings are optionally substituted up tonwith two R4 radicals; R 2 denotes - (CH 2) m -R 8, wherein R 8 optionallynis phenyl, cyclohexyl or indoles! and m optionally denotes 1 ton6; X represents a bond, CH 2, -CH 2 CH 2 -, -CH = CH-, -C = C-, -nCONLI-, SO2NH- and R’-X may also have common meanings anR 3 is hydrogen and CO-NR 6 R 7. The compounds are inhibitorsncysteine derivatives such as calpain I or II acathepsin B,noptionally L and may serve to treat diseases associated with itnincreased enzymatic activity of calpain or cathepsin. |
