abstract | In the present invention, there is disclosed a novel one-stage synthesis process of (-)-N-cyclobutylmethyl-14{beta}-hydroxy-3-methoxymorfinate (cycloamine) of the structural formula I, a precursor for preparing a strong morphinane analgesic known as butorphanol. The invented synthesis comprises a sequence of several reaction steps being carried out in one apparatus and without isolation and purification of intermediates. By execution of the said sequence of the reaction steps a substance of the structural formula I is prepared from the starting (+)-1-(4-methoxybenzyl)-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydroisoquinoline. |
