Imidazopyridines of the formula (I) <IMAGE> in which R<1> represents alkyl or alkenyl, each of which is optionally substituted by cycloalkyl, or represents cycloalkyl, B and D together form a radical of the formula <IMAGE> A represents a 3- to 8-membered, saturated heterocycle bonded via the nitrogen atom and having up to two further heteroatoms from the group consisting of S, N and O and which is optionally substituted up to 2 times by identical or different perfluoroalkyl having up to 5 carbon atoms or by a radical of the formula <IMAGE> The sulphonylbenzyl-substituted imidazopyridines can be employed as active compounds in medicaments, in particular for the treatment of hypertension and atherosclerosis. |
