titleOfInvention | Stabilization process of immobilized penicillinamidase of escherichia coli micro-organism |
abstract | This method of stabilising the immobilized penicillin amidase of the micro-organism Escherichia coli represented by the increased stability of enzymatic activity of the catalyst together with the increased mechanical strength of the particles of the catalyst prepared by the immobilisation of the cells or the raw dissolved enzyme using a reactive soluble polymer prepared by the reaction of polyethyleneimine and glutaraldehyde. This method according to the invention is based on the fact that the particles of the whole-cell catalyst prepared by the immobilization of the cells of Escherichia coli, or the particles of the enzymatic catalyst prepared by the immobilization of the raw soluble enzyme, immediately after immobilization or after drying in the presence of the salts of sulphuric acid and/or phosphoric acid or also in solutions of these salts containing 0.1 to 1.0 % of penicillin sulfoxide, are subjected to incubation in a solution of phenylacetic acid or its salt with the pH adjusted to 4.0 to 8.0 by a solution of the base or an acid at a temperature of 10 to 50 degrees C for 1 to 72 hours. |
