titleOfInvention Process for producing amorphous hydrated silicates
abstract Disclosed is a solution of alkali silicate containing 0.5 to 3.5 mole of silicon dioxide per one mole of Mi2O, wherein M represents sodium or potassium, and an organosilicon compound that is represented by an organic silane of the general formula RinSiXi4-n, wherein n = 1 through 3, X represents chlorine, bromine, fluorine or ORi1 and Ri1 being is selected from the group comprising -CHi3, -CHi2CHi3 or -OCCHi3, and wherein R represents alkyl, aryl, epoxy, amine, acryl or carboxyl. The preparation of the above-described solution is characterized in by homogenization in the ratio of 100:0.05 to 100:5, and then by drying in fluidized bed and an inlet temperature ranging from 140 to 700 degC and an outlet temperature ranging from 100 to 250 degC to a final water content in the product ranging from 4.0 to 23.0 percent by weight.
