The prodn. of 2-fluorocyclopropylamine sulphonic acid salts (A) comprises (a) converting 2-fluorocyclopropane-carboxylic acid (B) into the acid chloride or bromide, (b) reacting with an azide in presence of a solvent to form 2-fluoropropyl-isocyanate (C) and (c) hydrolysis with water in presence of a sulphonic acid. Also claimed are 2-fluorocyclopropyl isocyanate, (1S,2R)- and (1R,2S)- 2-fluorocyclopropyl isocyanate, and mixts. of the (1S,2R)- and (1R,2S)-2-fluorocyclopropyl isocyanate cpds. |
