titleOfInvention HIGH DENSITY INORGANIC NANOPARTICLES FOR IN-VIVO CELL DESTRUCTION
abstract This application relates to new excitable particles that can be used in the field of health. More specifically, it relates to particles that can produce electrons and / or high-energy photons when stimulated by ionizing radiation such as X-rays, gamma rays, radioactive isotope and / or electron beams, and their uses in health, especially in human health. The particles of the invention consist of an inorganic material comprising oxygen, in particular an oxide, said material having a sufficient density, and can be activated in vitro, ex vivo, or in vivo, by controlled external stimulation, for disrupt, modify or destroy target cells, tissues or organs. The invention also relates to methods for producing said particles, and to pharmaceutical compositions or compositions of medical devices containing them.
