abstract The present invention is directed to piperidinone azidean carboxamide derivatives of formula I which are CGRP receptor antagonists and useful in the treatment or prevention of diseases involving CGRP, such as migraine. The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and to the use of these compounds and compositions in preventing or treating such diseases in which CGRP is involved.
