A derivative of 2-amino-1,3-propanediol represented by formula (1) (e.g., 2-amino-2- [4- (3-benzyloxyphenylthio) -2-chlorophenyl] ethyl-1 hydrochloride , 3-propanediol), which is an agonist of the sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a form thereof incorporated with a solvent in its matrix. It has been found that a derivative, salt or form with a solvent incorporated in its mesh is useful as a therapeutic or prophylactic agent for an inflammatory bowel disease, such as Crohn's disease, Crohn's disease of the colon, Behcet's bowel disease , ulcerative colitis, rectal bleeding ulcer or follicular inflammation. |
